We're getting near the end
of the trip now. This place, Dubrovnik, Croatia, again as all these
cities along the Mediterranean are, just delightful, quaint, and rich in
history.
And finally Venice, our
last port of call, lots and lots of tourists in Venice. First photo
shows one of the many places where you can catch a gondola ride, then St.
Marks Square.
St. Marks Basilica or Church,
then the bridge of sighs, the court house was on the left, and the jail
house on the right. Very convenient.
Then one more of the many,
many canals in Venice. Then there was of course the sidewalk kiosks
that seem to stretch on and on forever.
Then finally our friends
Tim and Judith. Tim works at Meryl Norman and was working there while
I was there 10 years ago, before retirement. It certainly was a delight
finding someone I knew on this trip. This never happens.
